Our proposed building designs have been discussed with the Chief Monk and he is happy for us to build on their land for free! This is so important as it is safe religious ground which means that the building will be protected. Our plans are to build a centre for education and wellbeing which will offer somewhere safe for the poorest families to send their children after state school, from 11am to 4.30pm, instead of sending them to work or keeping them at home.
An organisation has kindly donated ready made plans from their recent rebuild which is almost perfect for us and exemplifies how organisations can help us in so many ways.
