We are so excited to welcome back Miss Wright, who has been in Australia working with the relevant authorities to register Shine Cambodia as not-for-profit organisation in Australia. Once this is complete, we will be able to register it in Cambodia as well.
Suzanne is here to carry out a needs analysis to ensure that the holistic services offered are those actually needed by the community, not merely a foreigner’s ideas of what should be offered! This sustainability plan is the groundwork for our future plans to expand the school offering more hours of tuition and a varied curriculum.
She will also be discussing our new building design plans with the Chief monk to secure its place on religious ground which means that it is protected and can’t be pulled down.
She will also be here for the first day of school, and we are so excited that she will meet all the new families that have heard about Shine and want to meet the lady that made all this possible!
